Family Training Event Team

Acronym ~ Family Training Event.  Annual Event hosted by Western Training Committee with Northern Lights and Chinook Councils.  Adults get world class training ranging from Corporate style soft skills to outdoor hard skills.  Includes an awesome week long youth program for your children (age 5-13).  There is something for everyone.

Wood Badge is an internatinally recognized Volunteer-development program focusing on the knowledge and skills neede to facilitate the Scouting program.  These competencies include youth progran facilitation, outdoor skills, Scouter Support, Risk Management and Safety.  The Wood Badge refers to the recognition that Scouters receive when they complete the Wood Badge Program

Absolutely, there is a little paperwork to complete but all family members are welcome.

Yes, all family members are welcome.  Participation will hopefully spark interest in the program.  There is additional paperwork to complete.  This only applies to youth ages 5-13 and does not include non-family youth.

Please note there is no program for ages under 5 and there is no babysitting available unless you have family members with you who can do this.  There is no change for children ages 0-4.

Early registration is the key here.  We do our best to accommodate request.   Please keep in mind that sometime logistics make some things impossible.

This is not a requirement.  You may sign up for as much or as little you would like to participate.  The costs are adjusted accordingly.
